Fool

Fool: ancient name of an atheist.
Fool: one ancient Hebrew word is: "eviyl" ev-eel see Strongs #191

Is this why the devil is a fool?

Could all those who do evil be a fool?

Is it when a person is a fool (doing evil), they act on their own doing their own will and not the will of God? When we evict God from our will, is this how we become a fool? And if we discount God as having no influence or power over us, isn't this in effect the same thing as being an atheist?

Strange reversal of application: now it is common for those who believe in following God to be called a fool. Isn't this the same as making good evil, and setting evil for good?  Such as if I believe in God's way I am a fool to many, but if I do not follow God's way I am not a fool but very wise.

I have considered why many will not live God's way. The root of it all is rebellion. The effect of rebellion is to reject God's way for a way of man's own choosing. Those who are evil have made that choice because their rebellion rejected choosing the way of God. So then, what is the sum of this matter? It is that choice is the free agency of all. And if a person by this freedom refuses to live according to the laws of God, they will break them on purpose to show God he does not matter in their life.  And when God is shoved aside and out of a person's mind and life: a fool is born.

I am sure we have all been foolish at some time in our lives. We have set God to the side and gone our own way. But we recovered. We looked into the mirror and did not like what we had become. We realized our works of sin did not do us any favors. We felt that prick of shame and we shook our head in disbelief of the mess we had become. Somewhere out of the past, in our mind, we remember God. We pray: "God please help me." While we cannot explain it, there is a certain "fear" that seems to haunt us that we cannot keep rejecting God. There must be a day of saying yes. Will this be that day?

Having been foolish and being a fool is in many cases quite different. Foolish people many times recover themselves before they become an unrepentant fool. When a person is so stubborn, so self-stuck on their evil life, and they choose to forever reject God and feel no shame or repentant: that person is an eternal fool. And it is for these kinds of people, who like the devil, make themselves eternal haters of God. This is the folly of all who refuse to acknowledge their foolishness. And it is right here, the Bible teaches us that men's hearts are hardened. And when this happens, God has chosen he does not want them. And when God chooses he does not want a person because their heart is hardened, they can never be saved: even if with bitter tears they some day realize what a fool they were. God has no obligation to forgive all fools. After all, the devil was the first fool. And he will never receive forgiveness, not in this life or in the one to come.

I chose to follow the Lord Jesus Christ because in him there is absolutely nothing of rebellion to make him a fool.

After what Jesus did on Calvary for all lost humanity, if anyone rejects him as their Savior, Lord, and King: THEY ARE FOOLS.

From among the Jews we will find the first fools for rejecting Jesus; then from among the Gentile nations will finalize those who are fools. The Lake of Fire will contain all fools. Hell is the eternal place of all fools. The world has been warned.

Jesus has shown us the way of those who are not fools. He invites all. The offer of redemption is given to everyone. Only the fools will say no.

Today the evil ones in the world think we who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ are fools. How could we believe in Jesus our Savior because he died on a Cross? To them, Jesus died a fool. To believe in the death of a fool is to them stupidity. One day I thought upon this. And I realized, Jesus became a fool on the Cross to die in the place of all fools. Yes, he died even for all atheist. And I saw it. He who did not sin, became the one who died in the place of all sinners. He died on my cross. He died on your cross. We who should have died for our own sins: he took our place and died for us. I saw also, that a person does not have to accept this great act of love. They can walk up to the Cross and spit on the ground and say "away with him." I do not believe. And they can go to hell as they go behind the Cross and over the hill into their own eternity, never looking back.

What is so beautiful in all this sadness, is some who did this. Who looked back. Who went back. And who fell upon their knees, crying: "Lord Jesus me merciful to me a sinner. I have played the part of the fool." And they changed directions like Saul the Hasidic Pharisee, and became a Christian.

I know there are fools. There are temporary fools, temporary foolish people, but they are not eternal fools.

It is here I want to encourage all of you who changed from being a fool to being a Christian. Your family, your friends, the world about you: may shun you and think you are weird and crazy to choose the way of the Lord Jesus Christ. Even if you must struggle. Even if you must go through a trial or test of faith. You will overcome.

I close out my blog today with joy for the overcomers. You can sing and shout in the house of God. Let the fools mock. Let those in their eternal rebellion ridicule. Even if they call you a cult, hold your head up high as a real Christian. We will see who the fools are when we all stand before the Lord God Almighty.

Fools to the left, the overcomers to the right.

To those on the left: into the fire;
To those on the right: enter into the joys of the Lord.

No Acts 2:38 Christian is a fool unless they are drifting into rebellion and departing from the ways of God.

So, stay in the Apostolic holiness way, it is the safe way. It is God's ONLY way. No one in this way is a fool!

Fulfilled Questions

Here are two verses of Scripture that many read, most interpret wrong, but there is something important said here by Jesus. See if you get it?

Matthew 5:17-18:

"Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill."

"For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled."

The question here is: did Jesus fulfill the law in his life time? And if he did, what does this mean to the part "till all be fulfilled."

If heaven and earth could not pass until all was fulfilled, and if Jesus fulfilled it, then can the heaven and earth pass at any time since there is no more a concern about a jot or a tittle.

Did Jesus fulfill the law? And if he did, has it been destroyed or fulfilled?

Many claim I am trying to destroy the law. My response is that I cannot destroy what Jesus fulfilled. There is nothing left to destroy. Am I right?

I have preached the grace of God for years. And by grace I mean that which replaced the law when it was fulfilled.

Romans 6:14:

"For sin shall have no dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace."

Did Jesus on the Cross take away the dominion of sin over us? And if he did, and sin is the transgression of the law: then the Old Testament law is fulfilled and disanulled. What remains is the commandments of Jesus and all who do his commandments shall enjoy the glory world (John 14:15,21; 15:10; Acts 1:2;  1Cor 14:37; 1Thes 4:2; 1John 2:3-4; Rev 22:14). We are not lawless, we have the New Testament law written into our hearts. In this law we have our gloryland rights. All because of the love of Jesus.

The grace and mercy of Jesus brings to the world salvation and we find it in Acts 2:38 where the plan of faith and grace salvation was first preached.

Jesus bless us all to accept that he fulfilled all the law and brought it to its end.

Jewish thoughts In Jesus day

Jesus must be locked up, he has stolen the hearts of the people.

Jesus must be put to death, he claims he is the son of God Messieh.

It is so strange how two simple thoughts could end up in murder.

Justification for the crucifixion murder will rest on the right of the Temple cult to violate the Ten Commandments and other laws and ordinances.

Bearing false witness when examined, was used against Jesus by the cult.

Thank God, we know Jesus was not guilty.

I have made my judgment.

Jesus was not guilty.

Perfect Faith

Is there such a thing as "Perfect Faith?"

Yes.

Perfect faith and being a perfect person is not the same thing.

Can a person who is not perfect have perfect faith?

Yes.

Sin by its nature makes anyone less than perfect. No person who is a sinner is perfect as related to spiritual purity and holiness. God is perfect in purity and holiness because he has never sinned. By sin I mean perform some act that was unholy, profane, or evil. God has never done an evil thing. God has never done an unholy thing. God is not a profane being. Therefore he is holy. Therefore he is pure and righteous. God is an example of perfect conduct. Let us then be holy as God is holy in all manner of conversation (behavior or conduct). In our flesh we can not achieve this perfection without the help of God. No one can live a holiness life without God's help. We need God. Every one of us need God. But God will not hear us if we reject in our minds to do what he will tell us. He will leave us in our imperfections, our sins, our evils, our hurts, our sorrows, our lost condition, and our problems. There is a way to show God we are humbled, we are ready to listen and follow his way.

Perfect faith.

In Hebrews chapter 11 there are many examples of perfect faith. The perfect faith of Abel, the perfect faith of Enoch, the perfect faith Noah, the perfect faith of Abraham, the perfect faith of Sarah, the perfect faith of Isaac, the perfect faith of Jacob, the perfect faith of Joseph, the perfect faith of Moses, the perfect faith of Rahab, the perfect faith of many who were un-named. And at last Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.

Perfect faith, our faith, which was the greatest of all faiths ever demonstrated in the world. Jesus brought to us not an equal faith but a greater faith. He brought to us the completion of Old Testament faith. He brought to us PERFECT FAITH. Jesus is the author and finisher of this PERFECT FAITH.

I have been in an argument with an Evangelical pastor who claims water baptism is works. He claims there is no merit or blessing in our water baptism. He boasts that it does not matter what words are spoken when a person is baptized, it is the act that counts. And this act only symbolizes a person's identity with Christ. It is an outward show of an inward confession. It does nothing spiritually for the candidate, but is a sign to those observing. I cornered this pastor with baptism done in the name of Allah if words do not matter. That his baptisms were faithless. That if the act has no essentially then a person need NEVER to identify with Christ, or give an outward show of an inward work. He became very angry and said I was putting words into his mouth. And I was trying to say what he believed when I did not know what he believed. I told him his words did betray him. I also told him he did not have perfect faith. And this angered him the most. You see, he was trying to prove to me that his faith, his baptismless religion, his belief in faith only salvation: was the perfect faith and mine was evil, sinful, and wicked, because I believed in the works of water baptism.

Ok, let me make it clear here as I did to this Evangelical Catholic preacher. True, I do not believe in the trinity. I am a confessed Oneness. I am a confessed Patripassian. I am a confessed Modalist. I am a confessed Monarchian. I am a confessed believer in the annual Passover of Christ on Abib 15. I am a confessed believer in outward holiness. I am a confessed believer in the Apostle's Doctrine. I am a confessed believer in the infilling of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance. I am a confessed believer in the Post-Tribulation rapture and coming of Jesus. I am a confessed futurist when it comes to eschatology. I am a confessed believer that Jesus is God and he is Lord and Christ, Father and Son. So, I confess the Father and the Son. I am a New Testament Believer. And I preach the Truth. Why all this?

Because I am working my way to glory. I am working perfect faith.

Yes, PERFECT FAITH.

I want to encourage all of you, not to think of your own personal life as being perfect. You may be less than perfect because you are still working out your salvation with fear and trembling. But this does not mean that while you are working out these things you can reject the Truth. That you do not need to be in the House of God faithfully. That you can wait until you are a perfect person to be baptized. Or you will put off seeking for the Holy Ghost at the altar because you are not a perfect person yet. You can still reach for that perfect faith even if you are not perfect.

It is in the works of perfect faith that you will perfect yourself.

Yes, if you come to the Lord and repent. And if this repentance is by faith, then your repentance is the beginning of your works of perfect faith. Yes, I admit that repenting is a work. I confess that when a person falls down and opens their heart and makes full confession to God, this is works. I confess that as they weep and cry their way into the presence of God, this is the work of a human being trying to present themselves to God as a sinner. How else do we expect a sinner to do their first works? First works? Why of course. When the preaching pricks our heart and we choose that moment to surrender to the call of God to be saved, this mental decision will begin instantly to produce works in our actions. We who would not pray begin praying. We who refused to go to the altar and seek God, walk the isle and come forth from among the dead, to begin a new life. We have not attained it yet. We have not apprehended it yet. We step forth from the world to begin a walk with God. We leave our seat and walk the isle to the altar. And here, the works of salvation begin. The perfect faith begins. And and all faith exercised in salvation is perfect faith.

You see, all that is in the world, the lusts, the evil, the wickedness, the manner of life: all these will not let perfect faith operate. In fact, while a person is dead in their sins and trespasses they cannot have or release perfect faith. They will always say "no", "not now". "some other day". And they will not walk the isle and come forth from among the living dead. It is only at the moment we break free, we shake off the world, say yes in our heart, and walk away from our sins, that perfect faith can at last come forth from our heart and soul before God.

If you will read the examples I previously gave in Hebrews chapter 11 of those who had perfect faith, you can see none of these were perfect people. They still had a lot of things going on in their lives but they had turned to God. And in this turn around life, this life of wanting to please God, do what was right, follow after righteousness, and to believe in God's way: it was the demonstration of perfect faith.

I remember well the Scripture: show me your faith without your works and I will show you my faith by my works. You see, the person who thinks they have faith and there are no works to prove it, these claim they have the perfect faith. But not so. They who have the perfect faith are those who show their faith by their works. So, we can see that by works faith is made perfect.

I know many of you are struggling. You are not perfect yet as a child of God. You are trying to do all you know how to do. Others are assaulting you telling you you don't have to do all that, just believe you are saved and don't worry about sinning. Don't worry about works. Don't even try to do spiritual and good works. They will quote you the Scripture that by works no man is justified. What they have done here is pervert the Word of God. We are not talking about works of the Law here, which Paul WAS talking about. But the works of faith, the works that faith brings into our lives, these works of God will justify you. Why? Because they are not works you invented or created to make God accept you. The works we do are the WORKS OF JESUS CHRIST. It is he who works in us. And we know he does nothing evil or worldly. With the works we do by the power of Jesus Christ, we know we are now entered into the works that make us perfect.

When this liberal and backslidden age fights against God in us, God in the Church, God in the Truth, and they start making provisions for the flesh: which is not at all the achievement of perfect faith; we know they are cursed. Within their rebellion they do the works of the devil. They turn and hate the Truth. They turn and hate men who stand up for and who preach the holiness way. These are devilish men and women and they will perish in their own corruptions. I have warned this generation. Others have warned this generation. The last day generation will have men of perfect faith preaching to them, like Noah, to repent and to get into the Church. The Church is the place where perfect works are carried out. Yes, it may demand you to walk away from family and friends. Yes, you must forsake your sinful life and evils. Yes, you must come through the door and be counted among the righteous. And yes, you must flee and run for your life. It won't be water but fire the next time. God may have said he would not destroy the world by water again. We know why. Because he said next time it will be by FIRE!

There are in the world a great people of God. Men and women, boys and girls, who are turning to God with all their hearts. They are forsaking the world and the lusts thereof. They are not going in the way of the heathens and the pagans. They are sanctifying themselves and coming forth unto God, their God, to do the works of perfect faith.

I am your friend.

My enemies do not want a friend like me.

They hate me because I refuse to accept their evil ways and evil works.

But, I am very content to continue on in the ways of works that bring perfect faith.

Actually, all that I do. All that I have done. All the works I have been busy doing all these years. All this is because I am doing works of perfect faith.  You can judge me but you cannot condmen me!

"Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect" (James 2:22).

And by my works I will be judged.
And by my works I will be rewarded.

Works that perfects faith.....

Let Them Slip

Therefore, we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip (Hebrews 2:1).

If anyone should know the outcome of turning away from God to sinful practices and fellowshipping with idols and evil, it is the Hebrews.

The Jews lost the temple in Jerusalem totally because God took it away from them after they profaned it. Not once did they do this, but several times. Read of this stupidity in Acts 7:43. There are several other passages spoken by the Prophets that warn of judgments and being evicted from the holy land. But they were obstinate people. They turned from the covenant. They broke God's sabbaths. They turned each man to his own ways. The forsook the Lord their God. And he turned them over to be destroyed by their own lusts and greed.

What happened to these holy people that they would become profane and ungodly?

They let the things of God, spoken to them by Moses and the Prophets to slip from their heart and mind.

Slip

As: Oh, I forgot, that totally slipped my mind.

Slip

As: My grip was weak and it slipped out of my hand.

Slip

As in running water poured into the hand and soon it is gone.

Slip

As: I have tried to get back my wife, my husband, my children. I was a fool and let the devil slip in and now I have lost everything. When the devil slipped in, I turned away from God and now my whole family is lost and damned.

"For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward; how shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him" (Hebrews 2:2-3).

I am positively sure, without any doubt, that EVERY transgression and disobedience will be rewarded with the judgments of God.

How have so many preachers allowed judgment to begin at the house of God? They know if they change the Truth into a lie they invite judgment immediately to begin. Why do they do it? Why do they turn against the Truth and became apostate and reprobate? What causes them to lose their grip and let everything slip? Why do they allow their minds to be wiped like a dish, and they no longer love the Apostolic holiness Truth?  Why is it that liberalism and worldliness have replaced the true ways of God in the house of God?

It is because someone let those things spoken by the Lord, and those who heard him: slip from their hearts and mind.

Over my 39 years as a Pastor I have seen so many turn from God and let the Truth slip from their minds, their hearts, and their lives. Many families who are now totally destroyed. Husbands, wives, children, and now grandchildren and great grandchildren all damned. All in wickedness and evil. Just like that the Hebrews did. And just as the Hebrews did not escape, they shall not escape.

The only escape on record is for those who do not let the things of God slip.

We cannot forget.

We dare not depart from the living God and go after the practices and customs of idol religions.

This is not a hard life. This is the easy way. This is the way of blessing and honor. This is the sanctified way. When we come to the house of God, we bring true worship. We are not of those who honor God with their lips but their heart is far from him. We have surrendered to the will of God for our lives. We love the path he has chosen for us. We will not turn to the right or the left. We are the children who are obedient and who have ceased our transgressions. We have entered into the grace of God. And we have a revelation of what GREAT SALVATION means.

How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation?

There is no escape!

What causes people to "NEGLECT" taking care of their salvation?

I have seen so many come to the altar, weep and cry, humble themselves in great contrition, and make all kinds of vows to God. I have seen some of them come for weeks, months, and even years. And at last they prayed through. The glorious day they prayed through. The moment they were filled with the Holy Ghost. And the instant joy unspeakable flooded their soul. What zeal. What fervent desire. What dedication. What clearing of the soul. What carefulness we began to walk before the Lord Jesus. All brought unto us by the sorrowing we had for our sins and we wanted to be saved.

Now to neglect all this faith, all this zeal, all of these great works within and without, and turn back to the beggarly elements of the world, and not care any more if all this slips: is INSANE!

Great Salvation

I did not understand this completely until the day I understood THE GREAT DEATH (2Cor 1:10).

When I realized how being eternally lost and burning in the lake of fire was so horrifying, unimaginable pain and suffering, such crying and screaming, such regret, such sorrow, such remembering when we had salvation but gave it up for the things of the world and our own way: I knew then that to be saved from this awful pit of eternal judgment was a GREAT SALVATION.

I do not expect everyone to agree with me. I know my enemies will totally disagree. They have found a loop-hole in God's grace that will allow them to sin and still be saved. They believe God will exempt them from judgment. They believe their new interpretations, their new perverted revelations, their opinions, will infatuate God to think of them as creative and not so evil. They are banking on God having mercy in the hour of their judgment and they will not be eternally damned.

Let me warn everyone: if you let those things slip concerning the GREAT SALVATION, and you turn back to the world and the evils thereof, YOU WILL NOT ESCAPE.

As Paul warned the Hebrews, the Jews, do not fall into the trap of thinking sin will not be judged.

If you turn way from this Apostolic holiness way to trinitarianism, to liberalism, to the world: you will NOT ESCAPE.

For me, it is obvious, as a Pastor who cares for the sheep, I will do my best to keep all judgment from beginning at the house of God. I will preach the Truth and the Truth will make people free. I will lead them as a shepherd should. I will not lead them into sin and temptations. I will lead them to paths of righteousness. I will follow the GREAT SHEPHERD, and I know this will take us all to the glory land.

I refuse to let the precious things of God slip.

If your pastor and church are and have let the things of God slip: pack up and move to Tampa. Save your soul.

Judging God

Over the years of my ministry I have been asked a lot of questions about God. What this amounts to is judging God. I am always happy to judge God.

Pastor, do you think God is fair? What is my judgment?
Pastor, do you think it was right for God to take my mother? What is my judgment?
Pastor, is God responsible for sin in the world? What is my judgment?
Pastor, if God promised me something, does it make him a liar if I do not get it? What is my judgment?
Pastor, God is guilty of not giving me help when I asked him. What is my judgment?
Pastor, God is greedy and stingy if he will not bless me unless I give tithes. What is my judgment?
Pastor, if God allows me to suffer, then he is not a loving God. What is my judgment?
Pastor, I believe it was wrong of God to put sickness and death in the world. What is my judgement?
Pastor, I am not guilty for the death of Jesus on the Cross, God is guilty because he is the one who predestinated it. What is my judgment?
Pastor, I believe God is self centered if he wants me to worship him and praise him. What is my judgment?
Pastor, God was wrong to make hell and the lake of fire. What is my judgment?
Pastor, I do not believe in God because there is so much pain and suffering in the world. What is my judgment?

I have been presented with many such things asking me to judge God.

And, I have always been ready, willing, and happy to judge God.

Now I know some will think this is way out there. How can anyone judge God? God is above man's judgment. Well, I realize if we count God righteous and above sin, it is easy for us to believe God cannot be judged. But in the case of infidels, unbelievers, railers, blasphemers, the rebellious, and those who are just plain out stupid, they have judged God. They have made lots of judgments about and against God. They do not honor God. They do not respect God. There are many reasons why sinners, backsliders, and the ungodly judge God. And I am always there on the other side to judge God.

When I was asked to judge God about his allowing sickness and death: I rendered my judgment:

I find no fault in him.

I knew all this was fringe because of the way we think. But then, I remembered a woman who judged God. I thought if a woman can judge God, so can I.  But I was careful not to charge God foolishly. Or judge foolishly.

There she was, 90 years old. And God told her husband she would have a child. She laughed. But, in a few days she was popping out there. She was with child. When Isaac was born, she was happy.  Through faith she conceived. Now all of us know faith without works is dead.  Her faith and the works produced a child. Then the word of God says this: "through faith Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, BECAUSE SHE JUDGED HIM FAITHFUL WHO HAD PROMISED (Heb 11:11).

Now I know this woman was not a preacher. She was not even a prophetess.  She was just a plain old woman who stuck it out with her husband. Why she even called her husband "lord." This same woman, when she heard God say she would have a child, laughed. But in her laugh, in her chagrin thinking about conceiving seed, she judged God. She was not a stupid woman. She was in fact very smart and wise. Her judgment which cannot be overturned by any man, was that God was faithful. She judged God faithful. She judged he would keep his promise. And this judgment was the strength of her faith.

You see, when men and women do not accept the promises of God they judge God. When they question and make accusations against God, they judge God. And I think this judging God is one reason they will go to hell. It is not just their sins that will send them there. It is the fact they judged God to be less than the God he is. They challenge God's honor. They attack his respect. They are very quick to condemn God. And it is this condemning God that allows them to reject God. And this will send them to hell.

When I read the words of Jesus: "If ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins." I could see Jesus was dealing with their judging him. They were not just judging a man here. They were judging God. And when men judge God to be less than faithful, and they find fault with God, then they send themselves to hell.

I am happy the day I judged God. I knew he was righteous and I was a sinner. I judged that. I knew he was right and I was wrong. I judged that. I knew he would forgive me now or judge me later if I rejected him. So I judge God concerning my salvation. As I made judgment after judgment, I found myself at the altar with hands uplifted with tears running down my cheeks: saying "I FIND NO FAULT."

Like Sara, I judged God faithful who had promised. And the day I was in the right spiritual condition, I received the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. The promise had come. Just as Isaac was the promised fulfilled to Sara, the Holy Ghost was the promise fulfilled to me.

Today, I am happy to judge God. No matter what the question or the complaint. I have a judgment to make.
And I am not afraid to make it.

Truth Cannot Be Defeated

Truth has been perverted since the Garden of Eden.

Liars, like the ole serpent, always pervert the Truth.

That is how we know they are not of God although they appear as messengers of God.

I have been witness over the years that men who try to destroy Truth by perverting it, end up going down into the garden of nuts. They never arise from thence. They eventually drop out of sight and we see them no more. They are like shooting stars in the night. They blaze, they look brilliant, then they are gone into the midst of darkness forever.

We can do nothing against the Truth. Either we submit and love it, keep it near our heart, or we dispatch ourselves to the devil's kingdom to be numbered with all the other liars.

The devil was a liar from the beginning.

Why is it that men choose to make Truth into lies? What goads them? Why is it, that all you have to do to find out if a man is a liar is to make him mad. Then his blasphemies will spew forth and he will pull his cloak off and show you his devil head and tongue.

Men of Truth are bold, strong, not afraid, gentle and easily entreated. But do not pull out your sword. You may limp away with some missing parts. They bear not the sword in vain. And believe you me, they know how to use the sword of Truth that has a two edges.

Good for all of them. They are men chosen to defend. Men in whom is the Spirit of God. Men who have The Love For The Truth. And they are friends of mine. They know whereof I speak. They know my motives. And they know my spirit.  They respect me for the Man of God I am. I do not expect this from those who are friends with the devil. Of course the devil's boys and I will never get along.

Truth cannot be defeated, I said so.

God is God's first name

God is God's first name.

Elohim is God's first name.

Elohim was abbreviated as "El" and may in fact be the first name of God.

It is possible "El" was the singular first name of God.

But Babylonian Jews wanted to pluralize God's name and created Elohim.

I say this because if we translated Elohim it would be "GODS." Since Elohim is plural. Why then did the Jews in Babylon when they retranslated the Bible from Paleo Hebrew into Aramaic use Elohim?

There is a great puzzle why "El" is added to names to signify the one true God. The first name I found beginning with El is Elishah (Genesis 10:4), which correctly then is El-ishah. With El of course meaning the one true God and "ishah" meaning a man (see also ish Strongs #376). Then look at a prophecy of God in Hosea 2:16 (call me no more Baali but Ishi). At some point God is saying here he would be called a MAN!

My main point here is that when any man says God is not the name of God, he is a liar. They do this so they can then say God has a name. And that name is not God, it is Jehovah, Yahweh, Yah, Jah, or a thousand other guess names taken from the tetragrammaton. But God is a name.

Take a look at the name of the first son of Abraham: Ishmael. Here we have Ishma-el. Clearly we have Ish-ma-el and no one can say this properly without breaking down the three syllables. They say Ishmael means God will hear. This is crazy. It shows that Strong and others can have their opinion, but their opinions are not always a correct rendering. How come he did not render "Ish" then "ma" and then "el?" It is because they did not want Ishmael to have a name meaning a "man given from God." They did get the "el" God part correct though.

There are many many examples where God's name as "El and Elohim" are used in the names of places and people.

Later on we will see how God is called by Abraham El-Shaddai. Now was this man stupid? If El is not a name why then did Abraham call God El and then add "shaddai" meaning ALMIGHY?  To Abraham "EL" was the name of his God and there was none greater or mightier.

Let us now approach Jesus as Lord and Christ. As El-Shaddai as we find in Revelation 1:8. For us there is God in Jesus, and not just God but "El." And to us Jesus is the true and highest name of God, none greater. And to this name every knee will bow. Either bow in salvation or bow at the judgment before being cast into hell fire.

But to my first point, God is the first name of God.

And to identify the Creator, Moses wrote:

In the beginning GOD (El-Elohim) created the heavens and the earth.

In the fourth word of the Bible, the first name of all names, before there were any other names upon earth. the name God appears. And from this name all creation comes into existence.

Jesus is God because he created all things. The Bible says so and I say so.

Every day has a cookie from God

Give us this day our daily bread. Now short bread is a cookie-like bread. Then I said if God will let me choose the daily bread, then I want cookie bread. Now all I need to do is look for my cookie from God. So each day I will look for my daily cookie. Whether bread or cookie bread, God is showing us his love to us as his sons and daughters. I really love bread with sugar on it. Well, actually with some cinnamon also, and a little butter. Now with a glass of cold milk, I am blessed. Give me this day my daily bread.

Lessons of fear

Fear can lead to many great achievements. Great men are moved with fear. During moments of fear our greatest strengths are tested. In fact everything we are when under fear is manifested. Fear is a great value to those who love God. We do not try to banish all fear. In fact we want to be afraid at times. It can cause us to turn to God. Fear moves fools as well as the intelligent. But a fool does not let fear teach him. The intelligent who knows the value of fear will thank God for it. Fear can be torment if the person is not totally submitted to God. Many have strange phobias that takes them prisoner. I am not talking about this kind of fear being good. When a person is a slave to their fears, it is generally because they do not have the right relationship with God. When we have fear and in the right fellowship with God, it is a good thing. In fact the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. Fearing God is a good thing. It is here we must explore how to fear God and take these lessons and make us better people.

Revelation 14:7

When I studied Noah's flood I could see the people did not fear the coming flood. They did not fear the judgment of God. They covered over their fear with boldness to continue in their abominations. Because they would not allow Noah to put fear into them, they drowned. I saw in this the stupidity of sinners. When a sinner refuses the fear of God they are stupid. When they reject the preaching of a Man of God and boldly continue in their abominations, they are stupid. Stupid people have little or no fear concerning the evil things they are about to do or are doing.

Stupid: Lacking ordinary sense; dull of mind; foolish, insane, mental depravity.

Now because so many reject the lessons of fear, look at our society. How many mentally depraved? How man insane? How many whose minds are dull of common sense? And how many do not have rational thinking. When fear is missing people become stupid.

Those who did not get on Noah's Ark were stupid.

Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house (Hebrews 11:7).

Fear taught Noah to put himself to building the Ark. All of his labors. All of his skills. All of his burden. For 120 years. Moved with fear. Each day fear moved him from his bed to his work. And each year of his labors fear continued to teach him he could not quit. 120 years is a long time to be under fear. Each day it comes back again. Even when he went out and collected the animals, it was fear that drove his inspiration. Some cannot let the fear of God grip them for a half hour to pray for the Holy Ghost, let along govern their life after salvation until they die or Jesus comes.

Jesus

JESUS name above all names.

Still name above all names. Why would I want to say "hallelujah" and it is not even in the Bible? Why say praise to Yah and Yah is not even the name of God?

I win with the name of Jesus.  You win with the name of Jesus.

This week I have turned many from Yah to Jesus. Now they are saying "praise Jesus." They are saying "hallelu-Jesus." It is so nice to be right. And think of how many praise Jesus' will come out of the lips of God's sons and daughters today. Go ahead say it: "PRAISE JESUS."

No one has defeated me ever on the name of Jesus.

I will have a great day today in Jesus House.

Precious Memories

Pastor C.M. Eby & wife Sister Eby
2-14-1904 - 12-13-1979
 PRECIOUS MEMORIES
My mother came into the Apostolic Faith in 1949. Her Pastor was Clarence M. Eby. He was a holiness preacher. He was mightily filled with the Holy Ghost and he was a mighty man of faith. As a child I can remember all kinds of miracles at the altar. Goiters just disappeared. People choked up cancers. Eyes were healed. Backs of the coal miners were healed. My own father who had a bad coal mine accident was prayed for and he fully recovered. Demons were cast out. People were delivered. He lived the life of a man of God. He made no provisions for the flesh. When he spoke it was with knowledge and lots of study. I first learned of the Babylonian connection to all false doctrine when I was a teenager. What he put into me as a child and as a young teenager has never left me. He taught One God better than any other preacher I have ever heard. A lot of my doctrine and teachings, points I make, I received them from him. He taught me pre-trib rapture because that is all he ever knew. Not one time did I ever hear him say anything about a post trib rapture. I do not think he ever considered it. From 1949 until I joined the Army in 1963 he was the only Man of God in my life. These 14 years gave me my Apostolic foundation. I served well as a teenager. Precious Memories.

When we built the new Church on Pennsylvania Avenue in Bellview, I was there for the first shovel of dirt. I shoveled after this. I was just 10 years old. I sanded the knotty pine boards that went into the walls. I sanded the wood of the altar where I would later shed a lot of tears and pray for the Holy Ghost. I was there when this altar was dedicated to the Lord for a place for sinners, backsliders, and those who need to touch God. I carried the tiny strips of wood for the floor. I carried wood, nails, tools, and was a general all around Church-boy. I loved working and learned a lot from the skilled older men in the Church. God's house has always been my love. I was there when it was dedicated. I was there to see mighty moves of God. I was shaken in this place many times by the Holy Ghost. While I played no music, I was requested to sing many times. And I loved it. It was my time to shine and be on the platform for Jesus. Sometimes in my singing I would feel a tingling sensation go from my head to my feet. Other times the Holy Ghost would come upon me and all I could do was quiver and shake. I knew what it was. When this happened my Pastor would speak from behind me: "let the Holy Ghost have his way." I would sometimes shake even more. I still sing sometimes and the Holy Ghost is still there. These are days of precious memories.

I did not get the Holy Ghost during those 14 years. But I almost did. I was raised a proper child. My mother took me to Church along with the other seven kids. She seldom missed after she got the Holy Ghost. Rain, shine, summer, winter, we made the couple miles trip by foot after going over a river in a small boat. We loved going to Church. We loved all the people there. And they loved us. I was never mistreated by any member of the Church. I was always hugged by each of them. I am sure the other children were hugged also. But I remember only me. Church was my real life. I was so happy when my mother would call us in from the yard and the street to get washed up and ready for Church. We ran to the house, climbed those stairs, and from the porch entered into the two room old country house. Precious memories.

I went into the Army in 1963 and became a Vietnam Veteran. I left the Army in 1966 and got married the same year. My wife and I have been together now for 45 years. Yep married to one wife just like a Bishop is supposed to be.  While my wife and I attended Apostolic church in Tampa from 1966 to 1968 we did not get all the way in. We went and a few times went to the altar. But we did not want to give up the drive-in movies, TV, going to the beach, wearing our wedding rings, our Christmas tree, and so forth. You know the drill. We knew, but we were not submitted. But in 1968 that changed. My wife and I went from Tampa to Millville, New Jersey and there we got into Church. Under my older brother, Charles Reckart, no less. He was a great Man of God. He preached like Pastor Eby. That was where he was trained and taught. Here it came again. This time I did allow the Holy Ghost to have his way. My wife was filled first I was filled later. Precious memories.

I spent four years in the Millville Church. I was taught, trained, and inspired under my Brother. He gave me a sunday school class after I was in Church for a year. A class I held for three years. I became the song leader of the worship service. I was appointed youth leader for two years. I founded Soul Patrol, a street based ministry among hippies and drug users. And at last, I was allowed to exhort. Jesus helped me and my wife helped me. Together we brought in 20 children each sunday and friday nights. We were soul winners bringing many to the Lord. Before I preached one time I was a soul winner. This is why I do not care much for men preaching who are not soul winners first. All they want is some other preachers people to preach to and never add to the Church anyone. And if they do, they will claim them as their own and if they leave will try to take them with them. I never did this. As Jesus developed me into Apostolic Spirituality, I fell in love with history and books. I would read several books a month. I collected books on Church history, theology, philosophy, faith, and commentaries. When I moved, taking my books was almost as big a project as moving the furniture. I had boxes and boxes. In them I picked the jewels. I could read a book and when I found a jewel I would note it in the back. In this manner I was able to document a lot of things I would say and write about. In the four years I spent in the Millville Church I fasted every week a day or two. I fasted many three day, seven day and 21 day fasts. I would pray half hour most mornings before going to work. On the way home I would go by the Church and pray another half hour or hour. Sometimes I got lost in prayer and an hour or two went by when I finally got up. I was not aware I had been in the Spirit so long. It seemed like just a couple minutes. Often I would shake under the power. And dance? Why when the Holy Ghost was upon me I was like David. I did not need music. And the most of my dancing in the Spirit was when there was no music and drum beat like so many need these days. Precious Memories...

43 Year Apostolic Veteran
Thirty six years have past since my first four novice years. I think in all, although I was a Pastor in my fifth year, I was a novice about 15 years. I never was one to exalt myself for a title. All that I am I paid the price before I received ordination into the office. I could write a book on my 40 years experiences with people, organizations, preachers, church members, liars, deceivers, mockers, and about many who are now dead who came against the Truth. While I have met and contended with a lot of rebels and gainsayers, I have met a lot of beautiful people of God. I have met some great men of God. Men who love the Truth more than anything. My last great precious memories are now being created on the mission field. Light to the Nations is giving me many great experiences in the Holy Ghost. Truth has blessed me. And Jesus is always right on time. For two years now we have been feeding and ministering to the homeless and the poor. We now serve every day from noon to 1pm. We feed anywhere from 15 to 30 every day. On saturday it can get as high as 75. And Pastor Reckart cooks. Yep, I am also a pretty good cook. If you are in Tampa come on by and check me out. Tampa Angels is a mission of charity of my own heart and the members of our Church. We know they will not all turn to God. We know many will still die lost. We feed not just to get people in Church, although that is our hope: but we feed people because we want to. It is the charity in us that compels us to compassion. We here at Jesus House know what Paul meant when he said "now abideth faith, hope, charity" and the greatest is charity.  Pastor Reckart can preach on this awhile. And it is here I have many precious memories: charity which is the bond of perfection.

A man builds his legacy day by day, week by week, month by month and year by year. Out of these he will develop his own precious memories. A person who has little or no precious memories has a very bitter past. Such people are generally non-respective of others who do have precious memories. Such people also generally have lots of emotional hangups and problems relating with others. Such people generally are always critical and imagine all kinds of speculation that will not allow them friendship and joy. We should not want to live a life we constantly tear down and destroy and start again. No, we who are great men of God build on faith and Truth and pass from faith to faith. We do not play spiritual games with doctrine. We get our foundation. We build thereon. And we surround ourselves with quality Men of God who are champions. We are not afraid to seek out just and righteous men to be our mentors. And we know how to stay in our place and not usurp authority we do not have. We wait our time to shine as a light that cannot be hid. We are not a candle to be blown out by winds of doctrine and leave those who look to us in darkness. We protect the Light within us. And we will not put our Light under a bushel, no we will not allow the devil to blow it out.

Brothers and Sisters, if you do not have precious memories in your life, it is time to start them. I can be of help there. You can see the kind of man I came from. He was not a slob preacher who was skilled in rants and rending. Not one time in the 14 years I was under him did I ever hear him rend another man from his pulpit. When he stood up to preach he had a message from the throne of God. Many times it was backed up by prophecy in tongues and interpretation. He was not a nonsense man. He did not speak stupidity and crazy stuff. He believed that the most perfect words possible, the best a man could speak with all his training and talents, should come from behind the pulpit. I have good training. Why, I loved that Man of God so much, as a teenager, I parted my hair down the middle like he did. Out of several boys my age in the Church, I was the only one who wanted to be like his Pastor. What's wrong with that? Be like someone, and choose someone who merits your respect and honor. Do not be like crazy preachers who speak all kinds of stupidity from the pulpit. Do not be like lap-dogs who are good at jumping and doing back flips but cannot live Godly and holy. Do you have precious memories?

Husbandman/Passover Wine

The grape harvest is past in Israel and in Florida. The time to press out grapes to make kosher fruit of the vine wine for Passover 2012 is over. The grape juice is either on the lees, or has already completed its cleansing cycle of conquering all the leaven in fermentation. Those completed have all be racked off and bottled.

Lamb Skin Wine Skin
In ancient days, an animal, usually a sheep was skinned in such a way that all the openings could be tied and closed off. The skin was cut around each leg close to the foot. The skin was cut as high up on the neck as possible. The animal was then skinned inside out very carefully. Once the skin was removed, it was treated to tan it. I have heard the way it was done was to take the brains of the animal skinned, prepare them in a special way to make a paste. This was applied to the animal skin a special way and the result was the tanning of the hide. This prepared the skin now for use. All holes will be closed off with a knot. This leaves only the neck hole. Into this, fresh pressed grape juice is poured (radiated grapes from the grocery store will not cleanse. Use grapes grown naturally where ever you live). Some room is left so the cleansing can create the right amount of CO2 and stretch the skin to the bursting point. Wine makers know just how much to put in.  Then the wine skin is hung up in a cool place out of the heat and sunlight. There the cleansing will begin. As the sugar in the juice and the leaven collide, engage in war, the leaven is killed. The carcases of the dead leaven then floats as white stuff midst all the bubbles and eventually fall to the bottom. There the dead leaven is called the dregs or the lees. When the leaven has all been killed the grape juice is purified. Yes, it contains alcohol. But the amount a person drinks at Communion time is far less than they take in many night time cough medications. Plus, Passover wine was never boiled grape juice filled with leaven in Bible times. Passover wine was always real wine. Passover wine was called "fruit of the vine." The point here is that the fruit of the vine is now purified. The grape juice with billions of leaven cells in it is not pure. It may be pure grape juice in the sense there are no other ingredients, but it is not pure in the sense of leaven. It is full of leaven which typifies sin.

Cleansing The Leaven
The wine skin now contains the grape juice (the fresh must). The openings are tied closed. This creates an air lock to keep oxygen out. This will help stop the wine from becoming vinegar. In the making of Passover wine I do not use a wine skin, I use a gallon glass jug that has been carefully sanitized. I pour in the fresh pressed grape juice. Then I put a special stopper in the mouth of the jug that has a little hole in it. Into this hole I insert an air lock. I put some water into the air lock and then place the jug in a cool darkened place. In my case into a bedroom I have for guest. There it can do its work of cleansing. I do not have a cork stopper right now so I am using another device that will work until my shipment comes in. But, I have a nice air-lock with what I am using.

Air-Lock
I have my Passover 2012 grape juice now cleansing. The first day nothing. The second day nothing. The third day bubbles and the leaven being killed and the smell of wine is now in the room. In a few days (between 10-14) I expect the Passover wine to be completed. I have made it just like they did in Jesus day. Yes, in Jesus day they had learned how to use jugs (wine amphora). And they learned how to create air locks with stoppers and seal them with tar. Only those who did not have a jug available still used wine skins.

I spend a lot of time on Passover wine because this is a very important essential faith. It has been for many many years. Observing the New Testament Passover is a very religious thing for me. I place a lot of emphasis on the night of Abib 15. Many do not. And many ridicule me and mock me. Some go so far as to distance themselves from me because this is being to Jewish. Or they accuse me of law-keeping. No, the Passover of Jesus is New Testament keeping. These hate Jews and anything that makes the Christian faith Jewish. Well, I do not share their antisemitism. I do not care if they are my friends or not. I observe New Testament Passover because Jesus is my friend. I have joy remembering he shed his blood for me and his death in the flesh purchased my eternal salvation. I would not miss this one night of the year for anything in the world. All worldly things cease and stop for me on Passover evening. I have but one purpose on this night. It is to REMEMBER. And I will remember on the right evening just as Jesus instituted it, not a pretend evening. Others who do not want to be my friend over this, I do not care. Those any time communion takers who hate me and attack me, I DO NOT CARE! I cannot lose a friend I never had. I am willing to lose all that I might win Christ. And observing New Testament Jewish Passover to me is all about remembering the great sacrifice of Jesus Christ my friend.

I will have plenty of new wine for us here at Jesus House for 2012. If I make any trips to other states or another country before Passover 2012 I will bring enough sufficient for those in that place or country to have some original and authentic Apostolic Passover wine. I checked and people like me cannot mail wine or ship it. All such has to go through special channels. Which I am not licensed to do.

Passover wine for 2012 is now cleansing.
Bishop Reckart
A Man God Loves

This year I am becoming a husbandman. I am planting some grape vines at the Church and setting up the proper trellis for them. I will be planting several varieties of natural grapes.  While I cannot ship wine, I will be able to ship the fruit and those who want to make authentic Passover wine will then be able. I will also have available all the supplies a Pastor needs to make his first real Lord's Supper fruit of the vine. It is to late for the fruit to be shipped this year for wine for Passover 2012. The only way to get Passover wine for 2012 is directly from me in some manner. It is "very" costly. You can place your order for the fruit in 2012 for Passover in 2013. By 2013 my vines will be producing lots of fruit. In 2012 at wine making time you can come to Tampa and see my set-up. I will also give you a one on one class on how to be an Apostolic husbandman. :)

Moving Forward

Pastor Reckart's Mother
Some think I fell off the turnip wagon a few years ago and became Apostolic by chance. Nope! My mother became Apostolic in 1949 when I was four years old. From that time to now I have been in the presence of the Holy Ghost. I have met many of the world's greatest Apostolic preachers. I have a lot of learning behind me. When I chose to stand for the Truth, Jesus slid a rock under my feet. I have an Apostolic legacy that many do not have. I have an Apostolic heritage to defend many do not have. Having come through so many eras of worldly trends, false doctrines, and false prophets, I am well versed on Truth. I am not trying to figure out anything. And, I am not seeking new revelations. All I want is the Truth once preached by the Apostles. That I will defend.

In spite of the many detractions from enemies of the true Apostolic Gospel, the message of hope continues to cover the earth. Men and women with a burden and desire to do something constructive for Jesus will make the difference. Many times I spend a lot of time on the nay-sayers, the fly-by-night novices, the renegades, the rebels, the reprobates, the false teachers, and those pesty church gadflies: and I do not elevate my mind to the endtime fields where the wheat is white unto harvest. So, we must move forward.

"Pastor, why do you even mess with those reprobates? You know you haven't turned a single one of them around in years, so why even mess with them? They are not worth your time and they will not love the Truth. So leave the wolves and snakes and tend to the sheep. Please!"

This Church member says it like it is. Now why have I messed with the rif-rap and the gain-sayers? Why have I concerned myself with the false doctrines of others? Well, for one reason. Not to convert these who have gone off into false doctrines and heresies. I know when you try to correct a fool all you will get back is rending and a big fat mouth spewing all manner of attacks. I know the yapping that will spew forth. They are all of them predestinated to this condemnation once they reject the truth. Their blasphemy increases until they talk their way right into hell. I respond to these people to show them their errors and to show others who love Truth, the Truth. While I am doing this, I know by stirring up the mouths of the false teachers they will begin blaspheming, making videos, writing web pages, all to show me they have deepened their depravity, NOT COME OUT OF IT. And when I see they have gone deeper into their abyss of depravity as they prate like fools of yesteryear, I can at last rest. I have guarded the sheep. And they love me for it. Also, along the way they learn a lot. They learn a lot of doctrine and Truth. It is in dealing with liars, deceivers, and false doctrine the Truth is elevated.  All of our Apostolic Gospel is a defense of salvation. This in opposition to all the other religious voices begging for the ears of the people. I know that as then, so now: he that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the Churches.

Moving forward

The power of our Apostolic Gospel is awesome. When preached with compassion, going forth in tears bearing the precious grain seed of Truth, we come again rejoicing bringing our sheaves with us. Yes, there is a harvest of wonderful people when we labor and spend our time in planting the seeds of Truth. No planting, no harvest. That is a rule that has never been set aside. He who never plows never reaps. The field of the slothful man will bring forth thorns and thistles. This is why all who are thorns and thistles give evidence of what their pastor is. Those who have vision and who have a desire to be used by God, will want a place where they are more than seat warmers and puppets who are expected to yell AMEN to the rants and perversions of novices. They want a place to be fed, challenged, trained, and taught the Truth in such a way they are inspired.

A Man God Loves
Yesterday in Church as I was teaching/preaching on BORN AGAIN, I noticed how in some a very anointed word of Truth brought forth a response of praise and worship. While in others, they sit there like frogs in a hail storm. Unmoved, untouched, unmotivated, uninspired, DEAD! They were dead to the Word. I saw in this a very valuable lesson. It was those born again who responded with zeal and enthusiasm. Those who were not born again were not yet on the level of spiritual appreciation for the love of God. Oh, they want the love of God. They think about it. They know about it. And they even want God to love them. But have they made that one eternal decision to say yes to the Lord Jesus? Have they walked the isle to the altar yet and fully surrendered? When I gave a powerful altar call many came. Some held back not ready yet. But the Holy Ghost was there. The altar was filled with sinners. One stood up and said he had been baptized five times. In prison, at the Salvation Army, at three different churches. But he said none of them baptized me in Jesus Name. None of them told me I had to be born of the water and of the Holy Ghost to be saved. They told me I was born again when I accepted Jesus as my personal Savior. But tonight I learned that born again means one right baptism and being filled with the Holy Ghost. This man will be baptized soon. Another man is about ready to be baptized. Others desire to be baptized but they are not ready yet. They have not fully repented and made that final decision to turn their back on hell and all of the evils that takes one there.

Moving forward means we spend more time on the those things we need to make more sure in our lives. Apostolic Spirituality is a great achievement when men and women die out to the world and seek God. The perfection of the endtime Apostolic Church is not going to come from blow-mouths ranting and rending to see who they can cut down and cut up. This perfection will come from men in the Five-Fold-Ministry who are touched with the coal of fire from the altar of God.

Now is the time for young men to make a decision and walk away from every church and pastor/preacher who will not stand for the Truth and Holiness. If you cannot walk away from that mess, you will never make a real Man of God.

The world is waiting and ready for more Men of God who know the awesome power of the Holy Ghost. And who are dedicated to the Truth.

Let's move forward men of God.
