Passover Wine 2011

Each year Jesus House makes its own Passover wine. Below are some pictures of the squeezing out and then removing the hulls and stems once cleansing fermentation begins.

Passover Wine Ready To Cleanse

Making the Passover wine is a special great event of the year. Fresh grapes are pressed out. The juice and the hulls remain together for three days. The hulls are removed and the juice allowed to cleanse by fermentation. Usually within 12-15 days the leaven is killed and floats to the bottom. These become the dregs. The Passover wine is then removed without disturbing the dregs. It is then put into a cool place where it will be kept for Passover evening.

Yes, real wine is used for the Passover. This is what Jesus used when he instituted it for a memorial of his blood. We do it exactly the same as Jesus and all Jews do it.

Passover wine made at Jesus House, will be used the evening of April 18, 2011.

At Jesus House we are real. We are people of God. We are not ashamed of the true Gospel.
