Tampa Angels Homeless Shelter

The Tampa Angels homeless shelter on very cold nights has been a blessing to many. My thanks to those who sent in money for these among the hedges and along the highways. We are a doing group of people.
Since we started TA over a year ago we have served several thousand hot meals. We have served breakfast, lunch, suppers, and late night snacks. And beginning December 13th we began our shelter for cold nights. Those of you on our email list who donated money, we purchased sleeping bags and food. Thanks to those of you who donated we will be installing a new shower and hot water heater this Friday.  The temperature will dip again on Sunday and Monday nights and the shelter will be open. Pastor Reckart has been sleeping the nights with the homeless.
I want all of you to know this compassion is having an effect. Souls are coming in and hearing the Acts 2:38 Gospel. They are coming to the altar and confessing their sins. We have baptized two so far. We have another project on the drawing board and hope to see it materialize within the next three months.

This morning went out and fed the squirrels. The winter birds are back. A lot of morning doves came for breakfast. There is singing in the trees. A good man's footsteps are ordered of the Lord.
