Truth does not belong to one person. It belongs to the whole world.
Truth is a gift from God. It is easily understood if a person is empty of all else.
If falsehood enters into a person's mind, it is harder for Truth to find acceptance. In fact, Truth is a stranger to most people. They treat Truth like an unknown person. Since most are unfriendly toward Truth, they do not know it but it cannot enlighten them.
Falsehood is like darkness. It has no light.
In this darkness, the imagination runs wild. Little children left in darkness imagine all kinds of things, seeing all kinds of shadows and images that they transform and think indicates living things are about. Fear sets in and usually the cure is to turn the light on and all of the imagination ceases as the shadows and images disappear. What removed the fear? Light.....
Now there are people who love darkness. Night clubs are kept dim for a reason. More sin and evil are done during darkness. It is easy for people of the night to hide and go about with little observation. Darkness becomes their life. Hell holes fill up, girls of the evening appear all over the place, drug dealers operate in the shadows, and rats scurry about.
Truth is like the rays of the rising sun. It is ready to enlighten; ready to warm; ready to bring color to what was a black, drab, gray world. Flowers open and show their beauty, and birds start off the day with the chirping of joy. The world wakes up. Light is like that. Sleep is over and it is time to get up and make the day valuable.
When you welcome Truth, a new day begins in your life.
Everything can be measured in light and darkness, truth and falsehood. What is Truth is acceptable. All things that Truth represents become holy and all things that represent darkness unholy.
Religion since before the flood has made darkness and falsehood the way of life for millions. In the midst of this abyss of blackness of the human mind and soul, there came forth a people, an inheritance, that would become the source of Light and Truth. Israel.....
Israel was to be the candle of the world. It was to shine forth all the knowledge of God and Truth given to man. Surrounded by darkness and heathenism, this holy nation was to be a witness to all people of holiness, Godliness, and righteousness. All else of all the pagan nations and people was to be counted as profane and unacceptable. The distinctions were so marked, so visible, that God put the standard in his Word and declared to Israel they were not to go the way of the heathen. They were to be an exclusive people through whom God would manifest himself by miracles, signs, and wonders.
But Israel departed from the living God unto idols, debauchery, and all manner of evil even to the point of baby sacrifices. God sent prophets. These were rejected and mistreated. At last, God divorced Israel and sent them to Babylon as captives of the seed of the serpent. In Babylon they would adopt the Babel language. They would adopt a new god named Yaaveh. They would transfer this god over as their God and retranslate the bible to place this new god as the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. And the light that was once among the people turned to darkness. Darkness covered the people. Within this Israel, this apostate people, there came forth again a flicker of light. A few holy men survived who refused to bend, bow, or worship the Babylonian gods.
It would take nearly 600 years, the dark ages that would close out the Old Testament, before the moment of a new miracle, a new coming Light would spring forth.
The Light of the world would come.
And he would speak about the darkness as none other before him.
He would reveal clearly the darkness would no more rule the world. The prince of darkness would come. But he would not find a place in the light that would begin a new day. All the language is there. The revelation is there. The persons represent both light and darkness are there. And in darkness a great light has come. But as it is today, men loved darkness rather then light because their deeds are evil. If light is extinguished, then darkness and the people of it rule.
It is not a secret that Mary birthed the light of God into the world. It is no secret Jesus is the true Light. What he spoke was Truth and in him there is no darkness or shadow of turning. Jesus revealed all the holiness, Godliness, and righteousness of Truth. And he said:
Ye shall know the Truth and the Truth shall make you free.
Darkness can no longer hold me. It can no longer rule my life. The prince of darkness can not hold me his prisoner any more. I will flee from my darkness and run to the light. I will deny myself. I will pick up my cross. I will become a follower. I will become a Christian.
Christian?
People of light. People of Truth. People of God. People who Jesus has shown the way of holiness and salvation.
Truth has a people. It may not have all the people. But it has a people.
It is these people, these precious souls, that in the endtime an antichrist spirit will emerge to destroy. The spirit of Babylon and Babel will come forth. As Truth is a language so is Babel a language. The two will clash. A war will break out. Those who speak the language of Babel, confusion, darkness, lies, falsehood, perversion, distortion; will attack to destroy the people of Truth. But we have a promise. The gates of hell will not prevail.
I am not sure where you are in this battle of darkness against the Light. If you delight in darkness and the life thereof, then you have no choice but to become an enemy of the Light. If you are of the Light, you will journey more and more in the perfect way of Jesus until within you all darkness is gone. You will overcome. You will push yourself to be holy, to be Godly, to be righteous. And if you must separate from darkness, just do it.
Many will be purified and made white. We are now in what I believe is the purifying time of the Church. A time when all that is not Truth will be removed. This is called the restoration movement. We do not stop with Acts 2:4, Acts 2:38, but we want all the life of Jesus within us. For this we labor and we preach.
To be like Jesus;
To be like Jesus:
On earth, I long to be like him;
All through life's journey, from earth to glory;
I only ask;
To be like Him.
