Jesus House - Jesus Table
Pastor Reckart is well known for his cutting edge ministry of Truth. He is numbered among a very few Apostolic Ministers who are this generation's most informative leaders. There are some promising young men coming up who are serving out their novice years in humility and learning. To these will be transferred the mysteries of the Kingdom. These without doubt will be the greatest leaders of the last days. Their knowledge and spiritual understanding will be the greatest collective body of Truth since the early Church. How did this happen? When did it begin?
It began in the 1960s. Grew in the 1970s and 80s. And then perfected by fighting against the winds of doctrine of the 90s. And at last in the last ten years of the last century a move of God swept the USA and Truth on a larger scale began to come forth out of obscurity. Apostolic doctrine was at last reaching its perfection in interpretation. Traditions of men fell by the way side. Man-made interpretations had no value any more. And when liberalism with another Jesus exploded upon the Pentecostal ranks, a hand full of men joined together to stand up for the old paths. No, they would not take the new path of worldliness. No, they would not baptize babies and force women to wear the Muslim hajib. No, they would not create false and fake days of Passover or the day of Pentecost. No, they would not accept the pre-trib escape rapture doctrine. And no, they would not follow after novices trying to find a place among the elect and had not even found a place in the true doctrine.
Pastor Reckart had a vision of Jesus House. He saw in his Church where Jesus was the highest name. And when the new Church was designed, the first thing in the plan was not the foundation. It was not the site plan. It was not the building and its layout. Pastor Reckart's vision was a house for the name of Jesus. How many came to Church was not the plan or issue. He wanted a temple for the name of Jesus. A place for the name of our God. In his prayer of dedication these are the words Pastor Reckart prayed:
To your name Jesus we dedicate this House of God. We know the Most High God dwelleth not in temples made with hands, but we also know the glory of God fills all heaven and all the earth. Fill this house with your glory and your presence as we dedicate it unto your name.
Thus a building became a temple for the name of Jesus. As the letters to the name of Jesus were brought in by his grandchildren and fixed upon the wall behind the pulpit, the glory and presence of God filled the house. The building there at 11731 N. 15th Street officially became Jesus House.
Yes, there were railers who claimed this was all false. Yes, novices ranted and spewed their bigotry. And how they made it clear their church would never be called Jesus House because Pastor Reckart had beaten them to this name. How angry they have been. Well, they can use Jesus House if they want, we knew we would set the example many would follow. So may there be many Apostolic Jesus House churches throughout the world.
It soon followed that our homeless ministry of feeding the poor became an example of other Apostolic churches. They began to feed the homeless. Pastor Reckart referred to the table where we fed the hungry as Jesus Table. And this became a spiritual identity of Jesus House.
It is only fitting that Jesus House have Jesus Table. And Pastor Reckart has with great compassion served the hungry and homeless since day one of our feed program.
With this ministry now doing greatly, we turn again to Light To The Nations. This fall Pastor Reckart will visit three African nations, Haiti, and Central America. He will bring with him vast knowledge and understanding in the Scriptures. He will also bring the anointing and great power of the Holy Ghost that has endued him these 40 years in the harvest.
If you are in Tampa please come by and visit us at Jesus House. And if you are looking for a place of sound doctrine, this is just the kind of place you will like.
