Tithing And Tony Vetrano

  1. Very good words: I think most will not see it because they have been stealing the tithes for so long, they shudder to think if they had to pay all back tithes or be a thief, they would rather lie their way out of being a thief and then take a position against tithes. In this way they can steal and then say: "well I never believed in tithes, so I was not under any obligation to give them." These would make a good catholic priest they way they absolve themselves of their sin of being a thief. They refuse to give their back tithes and I have found this stands behind almost all non-tithers. They then look for reasons and excuses not to give tithes.

For me, I am a faith tither and I have never out-given God. every dollar I tithe comes back to me in greater blessings one way or another.

One time back in 1976 I needed four new tires on my car. I had balloon pops. I could not plug them any more. There was four on sale for $100.00 plus tax. I needed them bad to go to work. I was in construction and also steel metal fabrication. I needed them for Church and going to the radio station each Saturday to preach on the air. When I went to Church, my own Church: I felt led by the Spirit to give that $100 of my tithe into the offering plate (yes I said offering plate, my tithes are still an offering): I could have used that money to buy my tires. I could have said I will give my tithes later and catch up. I did not. I learned way back then, that putting God first never failed. I gave my tithes. BTW, my tithes went to pay the rent on the building, electric, water, and church supplies. All this for people who had not tithes to give so they could have a place to come and worship. Some think all Pastors take all the tithes and spend them on foolishness. This is distorted thinking. But, I gave that $100 tithes. All the next week I drove my car on faith. No flat tires praise the Lord. Then sunday came. A man visited who had never been there before. He was a pipeline welder. He testified he was so thirsty in his soul and so hungry for the living bread. And he was filled up in the worship and preaching. He could go on some more miles in his spiritual journey. After Church he gave me an envelope. I opened it later and it had in it four $100 money orders and marked tithes. I got my tires. I got my wife a new dress and shoes. I got my kids a new bicycle. I paid the rent, paid the electric, and paid the water bill. I even went to the ice cream store and got the biggest cone they had.

That is not the only tithe story I have. My wife gave $25,000 tithes one time and a year later she got a blessing from God of $375,000. The majority of this went into missionary work around the world. You tell me how you do not do it and refuse to give tithing and I will tell you how I do it and give tithes.

Thanks Brother Vetrano: I am a heathen saved by grace accepting the righteousness of Abraham through Jesus Christ my Lord, and he was indeed a tither. He just waited for a man who was worthy to receive them.
