I know many quote the verse "as Jonah was in the whale's belly three days and three nights." They do not have a revelation of this verse at all. The emphasis is not three days and three nights in that order. Because Jesus did not go into the tomb on a day. He went into the tomb at the beginning of night or sundown. What we want to focus here on are the words "AS JONAH WAS." This was the focus. Jonah was dead in the whale's belly. That is the whole point here. A prophecy that Jesus would be dead. He would be dead in the tomb just as Jonah was dead in the whale's belly.
When people start to make a false doctrine they always pervert the scripture and its meaning. The whole 72 hour claim does not work with 13 passages. Jesus would have had to be resurrected on the 4th day and there is not a single verse that says this.
Jesus was not crucified on Wednesday. And he was not resurrected on Saturday evening like the Yahweh law-keepers are now spreading.
We must confront these lies every time they come up.
