Living In A Babylon World

For some, it never came into their minds. For others, if it did ever dawn upon them, they did not care. For many more, it is called adaptation or assimilation: mix in among and become a hybrid. Learn the way of the heathen and use it to their best success or personal security and a good life. Yes, the good life must be achieved even at the expense of losing one's soul. Go through the Babylonian system of education, street influence, and job security. All can be sacrificed if money, wealth, fame, and achievement can be obtained. Living in Babylon sure has all its perks and returns.

I was thinking the other day how the righteous Jews in Babylon must have watch many thousands of other Jews as they assimilated into the Chaldean culture. The poor, the wise men, the priests, and those of education. I wondered how they could survive in the midst of such high betrayal of God? How can a person switch to a world controlled by demons, witchcraft, mysticism, religious hypnotism, and all the drinking, riotous parties, revelry, and debauchery? For the righteous Jews it must have been a great sacrifice of faith to remain true to God.

  1. Very true Pastor Mystery Babylon Rebellion Paganism/Witchcraft rules the minds of many. Sin is no longer sin to many in the Neo-Pentecostal Religious world. As long as many go to Church shout and dance then they believe that its ok to engage in sin. Holy living is not taught. One can lie, steal, hate, be a pervert and so on but still be seen as a saved saint and used in a local Church today. If you preach truth then you have a bad spirit according to many today.
