Thanks & Sundry Things

I recently visited nearly two weeks in California with Brother and Sister Bonila. Held two services and did some one-on-one Bible studies. A few of us drove down to San Jose to visit the Rosicrucian Egyptian museum. I had visited this some years ago and wanted to refresh my memory of the head-coverings on the men and women and some of their gods. Also look a little closer at some exhibits. I was joined by my good friend Pastor Gillam. As we went through I pointed out several things to him that many have never known about. It was a great day of fellowship. Then we stopped at an Italian restaurant. Then headed on back to Olivehurst.

Brother and Sister Bonila are great people of God. They believe the Truth. They are trying to develop a home Church and grow it into a small congregation. I am praying for this great work of God. Sister Bonila is the best Mexican cook who has ever served me Mexican food.

Fed the squirrels in my back yard this morning. I can call them and here they come from all directions. About a year ago, after feeding them for years I noticed they learned my voice.  They would scamper around through the trees and when I called them, all the playing stopped and they started running the limbs and branches and jumping from tree to tree to come to where I had food for them. Not a single one of them has ever stood on his hind legs and barked at me. Yes, squirrels have their unique bark.

A friendly stray kitten came to my house early last year. It was skinny like it was starved. I bought a 25lb bag of food and began feeding it. I bought some worm medicine and put it in the food as directed. Soon the kitten became a cat and was getting fat. I would pull up in the driveway and here came Patches (black, white, a tinge of gold splotches). The cat would come by my car door and wait for me to get out. As soon as my feet hit the ground I could feel the cat weaving in and out around my legs and hear it purring. It would run after me up the sidewalk and beat me to the porch. I noticed Patches started wondering off down the alley to the west and would stay gone several hours arriving back in the evening. Then it was not a day away but two and sometimes three. My neighbor told me he saw my cat over at his neighbors house and the man who lives there claims this friendly cat who started visiting him a few months ago is now his. So he takes it inside and locks it in the house and it can't get out. Oh he takes care of it. But it is not allowed to come home. The neighbor has been told it is my cat but he claims it visited his house and now it is his. Well, my cat that used to come home now every few days when he would let it out, is now a prisoner because it showed friendliness. I am sure in due time it may not remember me any more, the man who took it in from the cold and nursed it back from starvation to health. But I know how I ministered to this cat and am proud, yes proud, my compassion even for stray kittens is somewhat like my compassion for other strays. Oh yes, I believe in replacement catology :).

Tomorrow we have our Tampa Angels feed for the homeless and hungry. This has been a great community project of compassion and love from Jesus House. Those who come to Jesus Table have shown to us their love. Our Sunday evening service is now changed to ministering to the homeless and hungry. We have a service and afterward feed. On the 31st I will be baptizing two souls. I have been teaching on baptism to prepare them spiritually for this great event. My lessons on baptism are outstanding. I gave one on Wednesday nite and a visiting minister called me last night and said he was really blessed by the message. He said he had never in over 35 years heard a message on baptism like that. His faith is so much greater in Acts 2:38 than ever before.  Truth does make us stronger. It feeds the soul.  So many email me they do not get fed at church and come read the blog to get fed. They are tired of sermons. They are tired of novices who rant and scream and say nothing of value. They want food from the Master's Table, and I am proud to say at Jesus House there is good food.

Soon I will in Jamaica for six days and five days of meetings to bring Light To The Nations to some very good and Godly people. I am not going for strife and contention. I am going in the name of Jesus to bring Truth like that island has never heard. I am expecting young men to become anointed. I am expecting a great move of God. This will be a time of prophetic renewal.  I will step through another door of faith and reach for my Brothers and Sisters who hunger for Truth. Yes, I will not fail them. Because Jesus is with me. In the hour of the Word the special revelation knowledge of the Word will come forth. I will arrive on November 6th and the time of a new refreshing will begin.

I send my appreciation to those of you who continue to send your tithes and offerings to support this work. Your gifts will be blessed.

Our Bible School in the Philippines will soon be on break. The students will return home to visit family and their home Churches. The new semester will begin. Those of you supporting a student please continue to use paypal and use my email address of acts0412@jmfi.org as the person you are sending a donation. Any amount is OK. Some send as little as $2.00 and some send more. Give as the Lord speaks to your heart. We are training young men to be ministers and they are learning the true Apostolic doctrine. The girls likewise are learning our doctrine and will make wonderful wives for our ministers. The Bible school is not a match-making place but for us it is OK if a boy and girl find each other and after graduation get married. While in school they are not allowed to be boyfriend or girlfriends. They cannot hold hands and they cannot text or show affection openly. If they break the rules they are to go home. They can talk to one another but must sit opposite each other. They cannot sit next to each other. All of the boys and girls are keeping the rules. They are told they cannot have a boyfriend girlfriend relationship until AFTER they graduate.  I am personally proud of all the young men and girls in our school. We now have 30 students. They are in a one year program that may be extended to two.

The work of God continues in several nations. To you Pastors I send my greetings. I am praying for you. I plan to come and see all of you in the next year. It looks like Jesus will bless me with the money next year. Thank you Jesus!
